Basketball Recap: Griggs County Central/Midkota Piles Up the Points Against New Rockford-Sheyenne

Griggs County Central/Midkota posted their biggest victory since January 7th on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets 57-27. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-53 last Monday.

The win got Griggs County Central/Midkota back to even at 10-10. As for New Rockford-Sheyenne, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Griggs County Central/Midkota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-27 loss against Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] on the 15th. As for New Rockford-Sheyenne, they will challenge Hatton/Northwood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Hatton/Northwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully New Rockford-Sheyenne likes a good challenge.
