Baseball Recap: Shasta Gets the Win

Shasta not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 3, 2024. They never let the Central Valley Falcons get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 last Monday.

Shasta got a massive performance out of Owen Boesiger, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Boesiger a new career-high in RBI (three). Eli Kennedy was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Shasta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Valley only posted an OBP of .222.

Shasta now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Central Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Shasta wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-4 win against Corning on the 6th. As for Central Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against East Nicolaus on the 8th.
