Basketball Game Preview: Tatum Coyotes vs. Gateway Christian Warriors

The Tatum Coyotes will venture away from home to square off against the Gateway Christian Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Tatum lost to Tournament Opponent on the road by a 59-41 margin.

Meanwhile, Gateway Christian waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 53-40 victory over the Bears. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Tatum's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Gateway Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Tatum came up short against Gateway Christian in their previous meeting back in January, falling 57-50. Can Tatum avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
