Even though the Irondale Knights scored an imposing 63 points on Wednesday, the White Bear Lake Bears still came out on top. White Bear Lake enjoyed a cozy 78-63 victory over Irondale. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win White Bear Lake has managed all season.
When it comes to explaining why Irondale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jake Dedominces. Despite the final result, he scored 26 points. That was a full 41.3% of Irondale's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Cramble, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
White Bear Lake's victory ended a eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Irondale, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
White Bear Lake will head out on the road to face off against East Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Irondale, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Woodbury at 7:00 p.m.
