Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Rummel vs. E.D. White

The Archbishop Rummel Raiders will take on the E.D. White Cardinals in a tournament on Friday.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Archbishop Rummel turned things around against Archbishop Shaw on Monday. Neither they nor the Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. Considering the Raiders' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, E.D. White was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell 3-1 to Central Lafourche. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Trojans are ranked 20th).

E.D. White has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-2 record this season. Archbishop Rummel's draw makes their record 6-5-3 this season.
