Football Recap: Allentown Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Allentown unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 27-20 to the Trenton Central Tornadoes on Thursday. If the Redbirds were looking for revenge after losing 20-14 to the Tornadoes when the teams met back in September of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Looking ahead, Allentown will challenge Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trenton Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Hightstown on September 6.
