Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for KIPP Dubois Collegiate Academy

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy came out on top against Tacony Academy Charter by a score of 62-49. The score was all tied up 32-32 at the break, but KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy was the better team in the second half.

KIPP DuBois Collegiate Academy was led to victory by Luxe Sheilds and Amir Gay. Sheilds dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards, while Gay went 5-for-7 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Markus Jones, who posted ten points.
