Fairfield proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Florin Panthers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Panthers back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Fairfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 17-25, 25-15, 26-24, 16-14.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Florin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Fairfield nor Florin have any future games scheduled.
