Basketball Recap: Dibble Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Dibble and Ninnekah had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Demons fell just short of the Owls by a score of 49-47 on Saturday. Demons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Owls since Saturday.

Dibble's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Ninnekah, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Dibble will square off against Little Axe at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Demons will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ninnekah, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bray-Doyle at 6:30 p.m.
