Volleyball Recap: Lockport Gets the Win

Lockport saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners by a score of 2-0.

Bridget Ferriter paced Lockport's offense, picking up ten kills. Ferriter got some help from Natalie Bochantin and her 20 assists. Ferriter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sara Mcgraw, racking up three apiece.

Lockport's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Nazareth Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lockport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Maine South on the 29th. As for Nazareth Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Bolingbrook on the 29th.
