Football Recap: Thunder Basin Falls to Natrona County in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Thunder Basin unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Natrona County Mustangs on Friday, falling 37-14. If the Bolts were looking for revenge after losing 17-7 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hadley Hudson and Xander Helsley certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hudson rushed for 48 yards and one score, while Helsley picked up 103 receiving yards and one TD.

Gabe Banisters had an outrageously good game for Natrona County as he picked up 84 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards and one score on only six carries.
