Volleyball Recap: Kenton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Riverdale Falcons. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 25-21.

Sidney Payne paced Kenton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Payne got some help from Brayla Butler and her 23 assists. Finally, Payne was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Kenton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Riverdale, with the win, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Kenton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Defiance on the 25th. As for Riverdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Vanlue on the 24th.
