Softball Recap: West Jessamine Wins Going Away Against Marshall County

West Jessamine had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Marshall County on Monday. The Colts were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Marshals. West Jessamine's win was all the more impressive since the Marshals were averaging only 3.22 runs allowed on the season.

West Jessamine now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Marshall County, with the loss, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-2.

Looking ahead, West Jessamine will host Edmonson County at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshall County, they will head out on the road to face off against Henry County at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
