Football Recap: Alamosa Mean Moose vs. Bayfield Wolverines
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Delta, Alamosa was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Bayfield Wolverines by a score of 23-14. For the Mean Moose, this counts as revenge for the 28-0 loss the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.
Alamosa was led to victory by Dyson Woodward and Zane Zook. Woodward rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns, while Zook rushed for 142 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Woodward is now averaging an impressive 101.4 rushing yards per game.

As for Bayfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Pagosa Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pagosa Springs will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
