Soccer Recap: Navasota Comes Up Short

Navasota lost against Needville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Navasota Rattlers fell just short of the Needville Bluejays by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Rattlers have lost by just one goal.

Navasota has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for Needville, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Navasota will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harmony School of Innovation at 5:15 p.m. on January 24th. Navasota's last eight contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Needville has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Bellville on the 11th.
