Volleyball Recap: Kemmerer Falls Despite Big Games from Brinley Backman and Ashlyn Riding

If Kemmerer was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Wind River on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers lost 3-0 to the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies on Saturday. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Kemmerer had strong showings from Ashlyn Riding, who had 11 digs, and Brinley Backman, who had ten assists and five digs. Riding is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Kemmerer's loss dropped their record down to 6-29. As for Rocky Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Kemmerer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rocky Mountain, they will take on Big Horn on Thursday.
