Preview: Grayson County Cougars vs. Carlisle County Comets
The Grayson County Cougars will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Carlisle County Comets at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Grayson County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Grayson County scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Saturday. They walked away with a 61-54 victory over Hopkins County Central.
Meanwhile, Carlisle County's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Calloway County an easy 71-48 victory. While losing is never fun, Carlisle County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Calloway County is ranked 43rd).
Grayson County now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Carlisle County, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
