            St. Michael Catholic has gone  a perfect 5-0 against Murphy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers  at 5:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, St. Michael Catholic got the win against Davidson  by a conclusive  12-1. The  victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.
 Addison Pratt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Those  hits marked the first that  she  allowed this season. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-1. That's the most  runs  she has posted  over her last ten  contests.

 In other batting news,  Amelia Johnson was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Aryia Blackmon, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 St. Michael Catholic  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .870. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Davidson only posted  an  OBP of  .444.
 Meanwhile, Murphy waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Chieftains with a sharp  13-7 win.
 St. Michael Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Murphy,  the  win  got them back to even at 4-4.
 Everything went St. Michael Catholic's way against Murphy when the teams last played  back in March, as St. Michael Catholic made off with  a  27-9 victory. Do  the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
