Basketball Recap: Windsor Academy Comes Up Short

Windsor Academy played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Brentwood War Eagles and fell 58-18. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kyndall Bowen was Windsor Academy's leading scorer, having posted six points. Bowen also led the team in rebounds with eight.

Cadence English was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds for Brentwood. English's evening made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Rizner, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Windsor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Brentwood, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Windsor Academy will welcome Gatewood at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brentwood, they will head out to square off against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Brentwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season.
