Volleyball Game Preview: Morgan Park Mustangs vs. Simeon Wolverines

The Morgan Park Mustangs will challenge the Simeon Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Morgan Park has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with five straight defeats, while Simeon will come in with three straight victories.

On Tuesday, Morgan Park didn't have quite enough to beat Little Village and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Simeon beat King 2-0 on Wednesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Simeon took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15.

Morgan Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Simeon, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Morgan Park was able to grind out a solid victory over Simeon when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
