Basketball Recap: Acorn Takes a Loss

Acorn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Westside Rebels. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Acorn's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Westside, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-12 record.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Acorn Tigers face off against the Hector Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westside has already played their next contest (against Subiaco Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
