Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hernando). Everything went their way against the Horn Lake Eagles on Tuesday as the Hernando Tigers made off with a 15-1 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Landon Holmes made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Josh Pe?a was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.
