Basketball Recap: North Clarion Takes a Loss

North Clarion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-23 loss at the hands of the Karns City Gremlins. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while the Gremlins are ranked 76th).

North Clarion's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Karns City, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

North Clarion has already played their next contest (against Moniteau), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Karns City will host Union at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Karns City's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Union has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
