Volleyball Recap: Kotzebue Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bethel on Friday, Kotzebue came back down to earth. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the Barrow Whalers on Friday. The Huskies were not able to make up for their loss to the Whalers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19, 25-8.

Kotzebue's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Kotzebue wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Bethel on the 23rd. Hopefully Barrow paid attention to the Huskies' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Huskies at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
