Basketball Game Preview: Bozeman Bucks vs. Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks

The Bozeman Bucks will venture away from home to face off against the Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bozeman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Port St. Joe likes a good challenge.

Last Monday, Bozeman beat Freeport 65-58.

Meanwhile, Port St. Joe won against Rutherford on Friday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Port St. Joe breezed by Wewahitchka to the tune of 65-25. The Tiger Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 24 points or more this season.

Port St. Joe has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Bozeman, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Bozeman didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Port St. Joe when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 46-41 win.
