Westfield won the last time they faced Gowanda and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Westfield Wolverines walked away with a 46-33 win over the Gowanda Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

Westfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddie Burgess, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Schumaker, who put up 13 points and seven rebounds.

Westfield now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Gowanda, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Westfield will host Maple Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Maple Grove will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Westfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gowanda, they will square off against Falconer at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
