Basketball Recap: Culpeper County Comes Up Short

Culpeper County lost against Courtland back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Culpeper County Blue Devils lost 67-46 to the Courtland Cougars.

Culpeper County's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Courtland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Culpeper County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Spotsylvania at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Culpeper County is facing Spotsylvania at the right time seeing as Spotsylvania is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Courtland, they and King George will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. King George has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
