Basketball Recap: Delavan-Darien Takes a Loss

Delavan-Darien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jefferson Eagles. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 50-47.

Delavan-Darien's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Delavan-Darien has already played their next matchup (against East Troy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jefferson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-40 loss against Lakeside Lutheran on the 13th.
