Triad has gone 8-2 against Waterloo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Triad is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Marion a 6-0 shutout. Triad haven't had any issues with Marion recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Triad hit Marion with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alina Ayran (3), London Looby, Claire Gough, and Emma Correale.

Meanwhile, Waterloo won against Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden last Tuesday with eight goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against Carterville as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Waterloo.

Triad's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Waterloo, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6-2.

Triad beat Waterloo 2-0 in their previous meeting on May 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
