Volleyball Recap: Fremont's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Fremont won the last time they faced Mountain Crest and things went their way on Friday too. The Silverwolves came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Silverwolves as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Carter Green paced Fremont's offense, picking up five kills. Green got some help from Nathan Broadbent and his 14 assists. Broadbent and Green didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Mountain Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against American Heritage on the 19th. As for Mountain Crest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Brighton on the 18th.
