While Gothenburg's win against Chase County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Swedes had just enough and edged out the Longhorns 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Swedes in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won seven in a row.

Lindly Anderson paced Gothenburg's offense, picking up 15 kills. Anderson got some help from Ruby Bell and her 25 assists. Peyton Hilbers controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Gothenburg's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Chase County, they moved to 18-13 with that loss, which also ended their nine-match winning streak.

Gothenburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Ogallala on the 28th. Chase County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
