Panther Creek extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Sasha Boddie. The Panther Creek Catamounts walked away with a 53-41 victory over the Apex Cougars on Friday thanks in part to Boddie, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. Those 23 points gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Wynne Kinahan, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and five steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

Apex lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ja'Kiyah Mangum, who went 6 of 8 on her way to 15 points. Finley Heath also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Panther Creek is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Apex, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Panther Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-53 defeat against Green Hope on the 4th. Apex has also already played their next game (against Holly Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
