Meanwhile, Mitchell unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springstead. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Berkeley Prep, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.
