The Eustis Panthers will challenge the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Mount Dora Christian Academy will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Eustis extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past Mount Dora, posting a 67-26 win.

Kevin Daniels produced another solid effort going 7-for-12 to rack up 16 points along with six boards and six steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Sutton, who posted eight points and 12 rebounds.
Eustis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Mount Dora Christian Academy got the win against Orangewood Christian on Tuesday by a conclusive 66-46. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won five in a row.
Eustis better keep an eye on DeAndre' Curate. He was instrumental in Mount Dora Christian Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was T J McCormick, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine assists.
Eustis' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Eustis hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 66.2 points per game. However, it's not like Mount Dora Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 76.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Everything came up roses for Eustis against Mount Dora Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 64-35 win. In that matchup, the Panthers amassed a halftime lead of 41-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
