Basketball Recap: Brentwood's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Hancock last Friday, Brentwood came back down to earth. The Brentwood Eagles took a 57-38 bruising from the Wright City Wildcats on Wednesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Brentwood's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. As for Wright City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Brentwood has already played their next contest (against Maplewood-Richmond Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wright City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-47 loss against St. Clair on the 31st.
