Football Recap: Carter Simmons Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Jacksonville Christian Academy

Russell Christian Academy lost to Jacksonville Christian Academy back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Warriors didn't even let the Thunder on the board, marking the Warriors' second-straight 38-0 shutout. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Russell Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter Simmons out in front who rushed for 124 yards on only 13 carries. Simmons also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks and making five total tackles.
