Football Recap: Barnsdall Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Barnsdall finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a blow against the Fairland Owls, falling 41-6. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Barnsdall fell to 3-1. As for Fairland, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Barnsdall is set to challenge their familiar foe Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fairland will square off against rival Porter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
