Basketball Game Preview: Holyoke Dragons vs. Crowley County Chargers

Having just played yesterday, the Holyoke Dragons will jump right back in to play the Crowley County Chargers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Holyoke is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Custer County by a score of 61-52.

Meanwhile, Crowley County had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They blew past the Eagles, posting a 68-36 win. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Eagles are ranked 246th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holyoke's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Crowley County, their win bumped their record up to 22-2.
