Soccer Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland and Lake Central squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Highland had to settle for second. They came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Highland of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Lake Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-1.

Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Central, they will face off against Merrillville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
