Baseball Recap: Omaha North's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Omaha North entered their tilt with Buena Vista on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bison 12-1. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chance Kinman was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Colin Kinman was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Omaha North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .379 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Omaha North's record is now 5-3. As for Buena Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Omaha North and Buena Vista will both be playing Burke the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Bulldogs at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, while the Bison will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
