The Liberty Patriots will challenge the Snohomish Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Liberty is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.
Liberty is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Enumclaw a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Avery Huh was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 17 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Isabella Rockey and Kaila Siu did most of the damage at the plate: Rockey went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Siu went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most stolen bases Siu has posted since back in April.
Inglemoor typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Snohomish proved too difficult a challenge. They won by a run and slipped past the Vikings 1-0. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on nine straight.
The result came thanks to Abby Edwards's shutout, as she gave up just six hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Snohomish's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Amelie Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.
Snohomish's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, their record now sits at 19-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Liberty hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Snohomish struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
