Softball Recap: Grandville Takes a Loss

Northview hit Grandville with a five-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Grandville dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Northview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Grandville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 loss against Portage Central on the 19th. As for Northview, they will host Lowell at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
