Junior Peyton Brones was the offensive standout of the match for Colorado Springs Christian, as he rushed for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns. This marked the 5th match in which Brones has rushed for over 100 yards.

Meanwhile, after a disappointing 7 points in their last contest, Buena Vista made sure to put some points up on the board against St. Mary's. Buena Vista took their game against St. Mary's by a conclusive 50-28 score. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (44) and coasted on those for the victory.
