Volleyball Recap: Virginia Academy Comes Up Short

Virginia Academy lost against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jossy Byars was the offensive standout of the game as she had six assists and five digs.

Virginia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Virginia Academy will head out on the road to take on Bishop O'Connell at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fredericksburg Christian on the 6th.
