Catasauqua hasn't had much luck against Salisbury Township recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rough Riders will square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Lynkan Moore was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Catasauqua is 2-1 when Moore posts two or more runs, but 0-16 otherwise. Asael Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Catasauqua was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was was before the start of last season.

Salisbury Township came out on top against Palisades on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Pirates. Markus Jones was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Caleb Gonzalez was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Salisbury Township's record now sits at 11-7. As for Catasauqua, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-17.
