Softball Recap: Walnut Comes Up Short

Walnut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Glendora Tartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in February.

Walnut saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rihanna J, who went 2-for-3 with one double. Lilah H also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Walnut's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Glendora, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Walnut will square off against Claremont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glendora, they will face off against Ayala at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
