Soccer Recap: South Davidson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Davidson was the 4-2 winner over North Stanly when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Comets by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. South Davidson have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jayden Bustos Benitez, who's now up to two this season.

South Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Stanly, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

South Davidson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-1 loss against Albemarle on the 25th. As for North Stanly, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against West Davidson on the 25th.
