Baseball Recap: Edna Comes Up Short

Edna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Industrial Cobras. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cowboys of the 11-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Edna saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Psencik, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Psencik also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Edna now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Industrial, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

While Edna had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
