            Softball Recap: Osbourn Eagles vs. Patriot Pioneers        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Unity Reed  on Wednesday, Osbourn came back down to earth. The Eagles lost  21-5 to the Patriot Pioneers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  14-1  back in March.
 Osbourn saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Britney Reyes, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  run.  Maya Mira was another,  going 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
Osbourn now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Patriot, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
 Looking ahead, Osbourn will face off against Freedom at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Osbourn's pitchers better be ready for this one: Freedom has averaged an impressive 8.9  runs per game this season. As for Patriot, they will challenge Westfield at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Pioneers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8.6  runs per game this season.
