Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something King City proved: they limited Princeton to a paltry 2.7 yards per carry. The team can thank Lucas Boone for the heroic effort on defense: he. King City didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.4.
King City didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carlson and Cayden Wainscott.
King City pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The upcoming contest will be a clash of competing strengths. Pattonsburg has relied on air attacks this season and has averaged 291.7 passing yards per game.
